Rap music has a short history when compared to other genres. Despite this, a few of individuals have made an enduring impression on the genre, including none other than Eminem.
As Y2K approached, the Detroit rapper rose to fame, and fans all around the world were drawn to his style of unfiltered, real lyrics. Although Slim Shady had talent from the beginning, his collaboration with Dr. Dre changed everything, and the former N.W.A. member became the driving force behind Eminem's rap game invasion.
Since his first commercial success, Eminem has grown to become a legend. He's regarded as one of the most lyrically talented MCs to have ever performed, and he is a true master of his trade. Furthermore, since physical album sales are no longer a thing, Eminem presently holds the record for being the biggest-selling rapper of all time, a distinction that will be difficult for others to surpass.
Since making a name for himself in the music industry, Mathers has dabbled in a variety of musical endeavors, including getting involved in a number of well-publicized feuds.

A rather thorough list of all the people that Eminem has had disputes with was put together by NME in 2020. To put it mildly, some of the names are disturbing.
For instance, when the '90s came to an end, Eminem and Christina Aguilera had some issues.
"After Eminem married longtime girlfriend Kim in 1999 in a secret
ceremony, Christina Aguilera leaked the information during her MTV
special What A Girl Wants, and also warned women about the
consequences of physical abuse in relationships. Em didn’t take to
kindly to her spilling the beans so aired his frustrations on ‘The Real
Slim Shady,'" the site wrote.
Machine Gun Kelly, Everlast, Will Smith, Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey, Ja Rule, Joe Budden, and a ton of other celebrities were also involved in feuds with Eminem.
People tend to remember Eminem's major name beefs the most, although he has engaged in a couple that others may have forgotten. This includes a conflict with Weird Al Yankovic, who has a reputation for being one of the friendliest people in the industry.
How, therefore, did Eminem come to be involved in a dispute with the singer of "Amish Paradise"?
"The trouble started innocently enough, when Yankovic decided to make
one of his classic parody songs based on Eminem’s Academy Award-winning
track, “Lose Yourself.” Eminem agreed and thus the song “Couch Potato,”
which satirized TV-obsessed Americans, was born. But when it came time
to make a music video for the song and promote it as the lead single on
Yankovic’s upcoming album Poodle Hat, Eminem was suddenly concerned the parody “would be harmful to his image or career,” and put the kibosh on the whole thing," The AV Club wrote.
EW questioned Al about the circumstance, and Al responded honestly.
"I’m not mad at Eminem. He’s entitled to his feelings. I thought it was
unusual because he’s a funny guy and he’s done funny parodies in his
videos. In fact, he did that great parody of ”Purple Rain” — what was
it, ”8 Mile”? I loved that movie," he said.
After that, Al "interviewed" Eminem, and while the piece was funny, it was also used to mock Slim Shady. At this point, the clip has been available online for a very long time, and it's true that part of it hasn't held up so well.
Overall, this was one of Eminem's more moderate beefs, but some were nonetheless shocked by it. After all, it is Weird Al Yankovic.
