There is no doubt Chris Evans is not the current Captain America.
On Saturday, the 41-year-old actor responded to rumors that he would reprise his Steve Rogers role from the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Twitter. Evans was responding to a Hollywood Reporter exclusive that revealed Anthony Mackie would be playing the titular superhero in Captain America 4 and Julius Onah would be serving as the film's director. The actor appeared to put an end to that notion by reminding fans that Rogers had put his shield away. The story noted it was "unclear" if Evans would return for the fourth sequel, as many have assumed.
