Marvel's Phase 4 Ends With She-Hulk and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The conclusion of Marvel's Phase Four will be signaled by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, one of many announcements made at the company's San Diego Comic-Con presentation.

It's a strange way to wrap things up, especially given that Guardians of the Galaxy's Holiday Special will be released one month after that. It might wind up being a good location if it delivers even half the spectacle that was teased in the first official trailer.

It's interesting to note that the studio's Phase 5 will begin with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The main cast from the movie will also be back in the feature, which will be directed by Ryan Coogler once more. Along with Wright, other cast members who have been confirmed to appear in the film include Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, and Daniel Kaluuya as W'Kabi. Dominique Thorne will make her acting debut in the movie as Riri Williams, aka Ironheart.

At the convention, Tenoch Huerta, who starred in Narcos: Mexico, finally revealed that he would play Namor in the movie. Michaela Coel, who starred in I May Destroy You, was also cast as Aneka, the Dora Milaje's instructor.

After Jon Watts, who completed a trilogy based in the MCU, Reed is the second filmmaker to do it after having previously helmed the first two parts of Quantumania.

The main duo will once again be played by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in the movie. Additionally, Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the characters that wore the clothes and alter egos originally, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer, will make a comeback.

Kathryn Newton is a brand-new cast member. In the upcoming movies, she will take Emma Fuhrmann's place as Cassie Lang, a.k.a. Stature. The part was played by Fuhrmann in Avengers: Endgame.

Furthermore, it's anticipated that Jonathan Majors will return to the role of Kang the Conquerer. It was first thought that he would be making his feature debut, but that was before he made an appearance in Loki as the character going by the name "He Who Remains." It remains to be seen if the character we encounter will be a variation or the real person we've already met. Additionally scheduled to appear in an unspecified role is Bill Murray, and there are whispers that Yellowjacket may possibly make a comeback.

The movie will debut on February 16, 2023.
